Privacy Policy
What Clove Media LLC collects when you use EmberTube, why, who else sees it, and how to get it back or deleted.
Effective 11 August 2026
The short version
We collect your email, what you generate, and enough billing detail to charge you. Card numbers go to Stripe and never touch our servers. Your titles and prompts go to third-party AI providers so they can produce your scripts and images. We do not sell your data and we do not train AI models on your content. You can delete your account and everything in it at any time.
1. Who is responsible for your data
Clove Media LLC, 850 Euclid Ave, Ste 819, Cleveland, OH 44114, United States, is the controller of the personal data described here. For any privacy question, or to exercise the rights in section 8, email business@cloveautomation.com.
2. What we collect
Account information
Your email address, and a password that is stored only as a salted hash by our authentication provider — we never see or store the password itself. If you sign in with Google, we receive the email address on your Google account instead.
Billing information
Your Stripe customer identifier, subscription status, plan and renewal date, and your credit balance and purchase history. Card numbers, expiry dates and security codes are collected by Stripe directly and are never sent to or stored on our servers. Stripe may also hold your billing name and address for tax and fraud purposes.
What you create
The video titles, settings, notes and any reference material you submit, plus the scripts, storyboards, image prompts and rendered images produced from them. These are stored under your account so you can come back to a project, and they are readable only by you — enforced at the database level, not just in the interface.
Usage and technical data
How many images you have rendered and when, so we can apply credits and trial limits correctly. Our hosting provider also records standard server logs, including IP address, browser type and the pages requested, which we use for security and debugging.
3. Why we use it
To provide the service — creating your account, generating scripts and images, saving your projects. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
To take payment — processing subscriptions, granting credits, sending invoices. Legal basis: performance of our contract, and legal obligation for tax records.
To keep the service working and safe — debugging, preventing abuse, enforcing credit limits and the Acceptable Use Policy. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a service that functions and is not abused.
To contact you — about your account, billing, outages, and material changes to these policies. Legal basis: performance of our contract. Marketing email, if we ever send it, is consent-based and always has an unsubscribe link.
What we do not do: we do not sell personal information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not build advertising profiles.
4. Who else processes your data
Running EmberTube means relying on other companies for hosting, payment processing and the AI models themselves. Each receives only what it needs, and none of them receives your data for their own purposes. This list is current as of 11 August 2026.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it — a valid court order or legal process — or to establish or defend legal claims. If the business is sold or merged, account data would transfer to the buyer, who would remain bound by this policy or give you notice before changing it.
5. AI providers, specifically
To generate your script and images we send your title, settings and the resulting prompts to third-party AI providers based in the United States. This is unavoidable — it is how the product works — but the terms we hold them to matter:
We use paid, business-tier APIs, under which submitted content is not used to train their models.
We do not send them your name, email address, or billing details. They receive the creative content only.
Providers may retain content briefly for abuse monitoring under their own policies before deleting it.
6. Google Sign-In
If you choose to sign in with Google, we ask only for your basic profile and email address — the minimum needed to create and identify your account. We use it for authentication and nothing else.
EmberTube’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke our access at any time from your Google account permissions.
7. Cookies
The EmberTube app sets one kind of cookie: the session cookie that keeps you signed in, plus a local preference for light or dark mode. These are strictly necessary for the service to work — without them you could not stay logged in — so they do not require a consent banner. There is no advertising or cross-site tracking in the app.
Our public website at embertube.comuses its hosting platform’s built-in page analytics, which counts page views in aggregate. It is not linked to your account and is not used to profile you.
8. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to do the following, and we will respond within 30 days:
Access — get a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction — fix anything inaccurate.
Deletion — delete your account and its contents. Note that this removes your projects and rendered images permanently; download anything you want to keep first.
Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format. Your projects can already be downloaded from inside the app at any time.
Objection and restriction — object to processing based on our legitimate interests, or ask us to restrict it while a dispute is resolved.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights — your service and pricing stay the same.
If you are in the EU or UK
Your data is processed in the United States. Transfers rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses in our agreements with the providers listed above. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority, or to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
If you are in California
The CCPA gives you the rights to know, delete, and correct, and the right to opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
To exercise any of these, email business@cloveautomation.com.
9. How long we keep it
Account and project data — for as long as your account exists. Delete your account and it goes with it.
After deletion — your projects and images are removed from live systems immediately. Encrypted backups may retain them for up to 30 days before rotating out.
Billing records — invoices and payment records are kept for 7 years, because tax law requires it. This is the one category we cannot delete on request.
Server logs — retained for a short period for security and debugging, then discarded.
10. Security
Data is encrypted in transit with TLS and at rest by our hosting providers. Access to projects and rendered images is enforced by row-level security in the database, so one account cannot read another’s work even if the interface were bypassed. Access to production systems is limited to those who need it.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant regulator as required by law.
11. Children
EmberTube is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, email business@cloveautomation.com and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change, and the date at the top will always reflect the current version. If a change materially affects how we handle your data, we will email you before it takes effect.
